«A stunning, innovative synthesis of cultures and musical idioms. The amazing unison of “Two Siberians” takes deep, virtuosic and magnificent melodies to a new level!»
The band quickly gained recognition from the Russian audience. For more than 5 years, under their second name “Two Siberians”, the musicians worked in the USA with a well – known manager-Darryl Pitt. In collaboration with famous jazz artists such as Michael Brecker (tenor sax), Don Byron (clarinet), Richard Bona (bass), Mino Cinelu (perc), Matt Garrison (bass), George Whitty (keyboards), Nina Hennessey (voice), the duo recorded the album “Out of Nowhere”. The original sound of instruments, expressive, virtuosic performance combined with incredibly beautiful melodies literally drive crazy viewers all over the world.

A unique instrumental group that has no analogues in the world. Yuri Matveev – guitar, Artem Yakushenko-violin. Since the duo's foundation (Irkutsk, 1991), they have written hundreds of original musical compositions for solo performances, as well as for theater, film and television.
